Personal Contributions
On this project, I filled a number of different roles.
- Lead Engineer: As the lead engineer, I was responsible for programming the gameplay, the main menu, the animation manager, and visual effects such as the film grain filter and scene fade transitions.
- Assistant Producer: While Devyn Whatley set the overall agenda, I was responsible for setting and tracking weekly tasks using platforms such as Trello.
- Assistant Designer: I was responsible for doing an “art pass” on the first two sets of levels (the skate park and the city), taking a whiteboxed design and implementing art assets and making minor changes to improve playability.
